About Fredericka Doku
Registered Dietitian
Accra, Ghana

My story
I’m a Registered Dietitian in women’s health, focused on PCOS and hormonal balance.
I’m licensed by the Allied Health Professions Council of Ghana (PIN 14191919), work as a public health dietitian at Greater Accra Regional Hospital, and see private patients at MediGrace Medical Centre, practising under HALE ’N’ HEARTY VENTURES.
I trained as a culinary nutritionist as well as a clinician, which is why my work moves past a printed meal plan into real, cookable food, built around the life a patient actually has to live, not an idealised one.
I hold an MPhil in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a BSc in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Cape Coast, and I’ve completed a postgraduate certificate at Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. I’m the founder and director of PCOS Foundation Ghana, a not-for-profit.
